WeLcOMe in wOnDeRLaNd...

the title of this song is particularly true in my case because i can't stop coughing since the beginning of may. Let's hope it'll go away pretty soon, i'm tired of taking meds which don't work.

Anyway since i'm coughing all the time and that it's pouring rain outside all week end, i got kinda lazy i watched tons of stuffs.
Here the recap!

first of all, not this week end but before that i went to the movies and saw Spiderman and Pirates of the caraibeans.
Let's the say i wasn't fond of either of them.

Spiderman to begin with, is much too long. I didn't count how many times i looked at my watch but quite a number of times i guess. The thing is, there were too many villains on this movie, it was loaded with villains! It was much too much. I do'nt know why they wanted to put so many stuffs on this movie, they could easisly have done two with this story. The villains were great though and the special effects really neat.
I cried when Harry died, it's probably my favorite character on this movie. Ok he's also good looking i admit, but see i can't stand Mary Jane. I think she's a "potiche". Mrs goody two shoes, who keeps whining all the time. And Peter Parker.... I don't see Tobey Maguire doing this role. Imo the spiderman movies would have been so much better if they choose Topher Grace for the part instead. But that's just my opinion.
And there was too much relationships problems, i swear if there were going to be one more scene with Peter/Mary Jane about their relationship, i was going to get up and leave the theater.
Other than that it was entertaining, too long but quite entertaining.


Pirates of the caraibeans 3 is also much too long but not as long as Spiderman 3 seemed to be lol.
And i'm sad to say that was the worst of the 3 movies. I'm a big fan of potc, a really big fan. I saw the first one 5 times in the theaters and i don't remember how many times i watched the DVD. I kinda like the second one too, the plot wasn't as deep as the first one, but it got a lot of humor especially at the beginning and nice action scenes. It was really entertaining.
But this one... I never thought i was going to say this, but there was too much Johnny Depp. Those dream sequences, with twelves different Captain Jack Sparrow on the screen, were boring as hell. And i saw the movie dubbed in french which didn't help at all. I'm more a subtitles kind of girl.
Anyway, i totally forgot what happened on the second movie, and sometimes they made references about it and i was like huh? What are they talking about?
i would say that the last hour of the movie was great, but other than that it needed a lot of time to get to that point.
And i'm so stupid, i totally forgot to stay till the end of the credits so i have no idea what happened at the end. The theater was so packed and we were at the end of the row so we had to move.
I have a question though... Does Orlando Bloom's character have ten years to do on the flying dutch or will he do that his whole life and go back to Elisabeth just one day every ten years?


I rented some movies for the week end too!

I wanted to see cheaper by the dozen, but the only copy he got was in bad shape. So i got it for free. I had to reboot 6 times my computer but i finally saw the movie (minus 5 or 10 minutes). How cute is Tom Welling with his baseball cap! And Jared padalecki, god he was so thin back then... It was cute, it was exactly what i wanted to see!
Next week i'll be back to the store to see Cheaper by the Dozen 2!

Believe it or not i'd never seen Coyote Ugly! I know, unbelievable huh? But thanks to my DVD rental store, this isn't the case anymore!! I really liked it! I have nothing much to say about it, except that Adam Garcia is definitly my new crush! I think the first time he appeared in the movie i was like: whaooo! I mean comm'on look at those eyes:


don't you wish he were your boyfriend? Plus how can you resist a beautiful australian accent? You can't! Exactly! But get your hands off him, he's mine, bitch! ;)
He's in a musical in London these days... i was planning to go to London this summer, maybe i'll buy tickets to see it.

You probably know that Ocean's thirteen is going to be in our theaters in july, you may also know that they showed the movie at Cannes last week with the whole cast and crew there. I can't wait to see it!
So as i realised that i totally forgot what happened on Potc 2 just one year after seeing it, i decided to see Ocean's twelve again, because as it aired in december 2004 in France, there is no way i remembered what happened.
Except i did, and pretty well!
The first time i saw it, in the theaters i was really disappointed. I wanted to see if i changed my mind. Although i did enjoy the movie, i still didn't change my mind on this subject. Ocean's twelve is a fraud! Ocean's eleven is a brilliant movie, they robbed three casinos in Las Vegas for god Sake's! That was amazing, the plot was just perfect.
In Ocean's twelve, what did they do? They stole a backpack at a train station? They were the best only because they got an information that the other one didn't have? Well done Mister Ocean, you're a real mastermind for sure! That's why it's disappointing.

But also some TV shows...

i downloaded the first episode of the Tudors. It's quite interesting actually, and the accents... they all have marvelous british accents, i love that. I'm not really a Johnathan rhys meyer fan ( except in Bend it like Beckham) but he's quite good in playing Henri 8, and they're always talking about the french people! Ok we're still the bad guys, but still it's cool. Anyway i don't think i'll continue watching it. It's too dark. if i wanna know History, i read a book about it. Don't get me wrong i love History, it's just that i don't want to watch a tv show about it.

I downloaded Opposite Sex to see the talented Miss Mack, and the charming Milo Ventimiglia when he didn't work out yet :)
The great surprise of this tv show is Chris Evans and Kyle Howards. My 4 stars in one show, cool isn't it?
Chris Evans is just too much in this show. He's the only thing that kept me watching till the last episode, that and the cuteness that is Miss Mack. Because let's face it this show is not for my age. 13 years old must have loved the show (maybe) but i found it completely stupid. And they were obsessed about sex. They were fifteen and practically everybody in that school ( Girls may i add) had already lost their virginity! Ha! Who are they fooling!
Did they go to a real high school?

I catched up with One Tree Hill, that tells you how much i got bored. Poor poor Brooke...
Rachel is gone, what a pity. She was one of the fun characters.

the Derek stuff: even more boring that the first time
Chad: Get a haircut, and take your buddy James with you...
I have a new drinking game: every time Peyton or Lucas say I love you, Brooke or Nathan say But i cheated, Haley whines and Deb has a breakdown: drink!
I know Haley is pregnant and it's the hormones and stuff, but can she be more annoying?
Drama drama drama....
GIVE ME VERONICA MARS BACK!

I started watching Brothers & Sisters! It's quite good actually. And i didn't think i could find Calista Flockhart any good after the disaster that was the end of Ally Mc Beal.
I only watched 3 episodes but i think i will watch the rest of the season.

I also watch the pilot of Men in Trees!! hehe. Anne Hesse always makes me laugh. I downloaded the entire season. Let's see what happens next!
